An adventure tower directly on Panambur Beach — where sand offers no bearing capacity for conventional footings.
The Brief
Teammanthras wanted a compact, high-energy adventure zone at one of Karnataka’s most visited beaches — five attractions on a coastal footprint where conventional foundations don’t work.
Engineering Decisions
Multiple pile foundations were driven to roughly 10 metres to reach stable strata beneath the sand. The multi-activity tower — carrying zipline, sky cycle, zip surfing, climbing wall and quick jump — was sized for coastal wind loading, with marine-environment corrosion protection on the steel.
Outcome
Proof that OXO builds where conventional foundations can’t — the reference project for coastal and soft-soil sites, and a landmark for adventure operators in Karnataka.
