Engineering Decisions
The brief: the architects at OutisOut wanted a working climbing wall inside a luxury residence — one that reads as part of the house’s design, with the aesthetic carrying through.
The engineering: panel geometry, colour and finish were driven by the architects’ theme; hold layout and fall zones by climbing function. The result integrates as an interior feature that happens to be fully climbable.
The outcome: proof that adventure infrastructure can meet an architect’s standard — a collaboration model we’ve since repeated with design firms.
