Thrill meets nature at one of Nepal’s most beloved picnic destinations — a 200-metre dual-way zipline that has crossed 50,000 rides.
The Brief
Flat terrain and a high-footfall commercial park: the ride had to generate revenue through throughput, without natural elevation to work with.
Engineering Decisions
Full-steel launch and landing towers created the elevation the site lacked. The to-and-fro (dual-way) configuration doubles effective capacity per cable — riders return along the same line rather than walking back — and dispatch flow was designed for continuous, back-to-back operation.
Outcome
More than 50,000 rides completed — OXO’s clearest proof that zipline economics are won by throughput engineering, not just thrill. One of seven OXO projects in Nepal for the adventure park sector.
