Where OXO’s roller coaster zipline story began — a 120 m track that was among India’s first, engineered for the school-picnic economy.
The Brief
Great Rocksport built its venue around school picnics: hundreds of young riders in tight time windows. The attraction had to maximise riders per hour on compact land.
Engineering Decisions
Track geometry was tuned for consistent dispatch intervals with young riders — predictable speeds through every curve rather than peak thrill. A separate 50 m zip surfing line splits the queue and adds a second ride per visit.
Outcome
OXO’s RCZ template was born here: the throughput lessons from Sonipat scaled directly to Ban Jungle (Nepal’s longest RCZ), Maira Raipur and Roadies Rostel. A reference build for the education and day-visit sector.
