At the adrenaline capital of India, one bungee tower became four revenue streams — including two attractions no one had built before.
The Brief
D Splash wanted its bungee tower to earn beyond the jump: more attractions, more ticket types, one structure.
Engineering Decisions
Retrofitting attractions onto a live bungee tower meant working strictly within its existing load paths. The belay-secured sky walk — India’s first over a bungee tower — cantilevers without compromising the jump platform; a glass walk occupies the floor below; and the world’s first giant swing on a bungee tower required its dynamic loads to be verified against the tower’s design envelope. OXO also consulted on the bungee setup itself.
Outcome
One tower, four revenue streams, and two India/world firsts — the flagship reference for tower-retrofit attractions in Uttarakhand and beyond.
