Engineering Decisions
The brief: give residents of a premium development a fitness amenity that isn’t another gym — active recreation the whole family can use.
The engineering: one structure, two disciplines — a 7 × 8 m roped climbing wall with auto belays (no trained belayer needed for daily resident use) and a 6 × 4.5 m bouldering section. Designed to the EN 12572 artificial-climbing-structure standard on a galvanised support frame, with modern geometric panels that read as architecture, not equipment.
The outcome: a residential amenity that works unattended day to day — safety by system design, not supervision.
