Engineering Decisions
The brief: Adani wanted a recreation space that helps the Mundra township retain employees and their families — to exacting corporate standards. The business case wasn’t ticket sales; it was people staying.
The engineering: the site sits close to the beach, so high wind conditions drove the structural design throughout. Two activities were introduced to India on this project — a 2,000 sq ft Fun Net and outdoor laser tag. The ropes course runs a Kong continuous belay system, so users stay connected for the entire circuit.
The outcome: one of the most demanding builds OXO has delivered — and most likely India’s first adventure park whose purpose is employee retention.
